Partner Curtis Berkey speaks at the Conference on Inter-Tribal Trade

On April 22, 2016, Managing Partner Curtis Berkey presented an analysis of the Jay Treaty of 1794 at a conference on Inter-Tribal Trade at the University of Oklahoma Law School.  The conference was organized by lawyers and scholars in the United States and Canada to explore legal and diplomatic options for encouraging free and fair trade among Indian nations across the international border.  The Jay Treaty contains special provisions regarding rights of free passage and free trade for Indian people.
